Last night (around noon) North Korea fired off three missiles from Hwangju County in North Hwanghae Province. The missiles landed, after a 600 mile flight, about 250 miles in the Japanese air defense zone. The launch has been called, by the Joint Cheifs of Staff, as an armed protest to the G20 Summit taking place in China. It is believed the missiles were Rodung medium range missiles. A majority of nations surrounding the peninsula comdemned the missile launch. I will add more details to the motives and response to the test in my Daily Update later this evening.
